About MudPaint

A husband and wife team of experienced furniture painters, we created MudPaint in 2014 to offer a paint with better coverage and finish than any other paint on the market. MudPaint is eco-friendly, LEED-compliant and it's unique, clay-based formula with natural earthen materials requires little prep work and no waxing for a smooth coat. MudPaint is easy to use, fast-drying, and adheres to almost any surface. It has great coverage that makes it so most customers only need to use one coat. A little goes a long way! Compared to chalk paint, MudPaint is smoother and creamier. MudPaint has a naturally smooth buttery finish unlike any other paint. The ‘painter’s paint’ and the premiere clay-based furniture paint available, MudPaint is eco-friendly, woman-owned, small-batch produced, and hand-poured in the Pacific Northwest of the USA. We mix MudPaint in small batches, hand-fill containers, and label each paint container upon receipt of an order. Expand your business with the known paint as the BEST paint for furniture, MudPaint!  “I am in Sydney, Australia and could easily find local furniture paint but the confidence I have in MudPaint as a product and the amazing customer service I always receive from the MudPaint team keeps me reordering. The team goes out of there way to assist me with any questions and make my freight costs and lead times as economical as possible. The paint colours, the waxes and finishes the brushes all are amazing.” – Allyson Adams, 3/13/2021Read their story
