About Salt and Honey

Founded in 2020, Salt and Honey is a family-owned modest clothing boutique. Starting slow, when a friend asked us to take over her business, we've grown from the duplex house where we shipped orders out of the basement, to a shop along main street in a charming little northeast Ohio town. Addy and Alyssa, a mother-daughter team, are the heart of the storefront and the collections. Our passion is modest clothing that is practical and wears well. We resist consumerism and the constant pressure to "buy more." Instead, we take a slow approach to our wardrobes - and life - thoughtfully bringing in pieces with a calm color palette and quality details; pieces that will easily pair with old and new purchases. We're here for those women who love all things calm, practical and lovely - and insist on dressing in a way that does not compromise on modesty! In our endeavor to curate the "perfect" collections for our ladies, we're stepping into the world of design and manufacture. Here, we debut our first piece - the Elsie skirt - ethically manufactured in the USA with a thoughtful design and attention to so many details!
