Welcome to my B2B shop! Here you'll find unique illustration, ceramics and pottery to make your day — and your client's — more beautiful, colorful, and happy. + ABOUT MATILDE Matilde Horta is a Portuguese illustrator and artist. She has a single-person business that combines freelance work (books, editorial, digital illustration—check portfolio and website) with her products and creations (that she sells in galleries and online shops). She is currently working from a small village in the natural countryside of Portugal where she creates illustrations, ceramics, and pottery. + ABOUT THE SHOP You'll find diverse decorative products, mostly on paper or ceramics, with unique and original illustrations for you and your client's home. I believe that having good, beautiful, and one-of-a-kind objects around makes our days a bit better. All ceramics and pottery are handmade and hand-painted by me. All the prints are my creation from what I see and feel, and are printed in a small family business in Porto. Most of my packaging is reused or rebuilt from old packages that arrive at my house.

sadly, almost half of the ceramic items we ordered arrived broken. I Understand that the items made a far trip, but were not packaged appropriately. The Paper products are cute and well printed however, the ceramic items lack an attention to detail, and level of quality that does not reflect the price point. Certain things like Unfinished edges, missed patches of glaze could be improved upon. we understand these items are handmade and unique- which we appreciate but, they could be refined.

I have already initiated the process with Faire to ensure you are fully refunded for those items. About the finish of the ceramics: I truly value your perspective on the glaze and edges. As these are handmade, I don't refine them as much as porcelain or china pieces to keep a unique, organic feel, but I clearly missed the level of refinement you expected for your shop. I’ll be taking your comments back to my studio to improve my quality control process for sure!
