At Ginger & Pine Apothecary, we believe the best products are made slowly, intentionally, and by hand. Every product is handcrafted in small batches and made to order in our family-run apothecary. Because our products are handmade, colors, textures, finishes, and overall appearance may vary slightly from the photos shown on our storefront. Natural ingredients, individual batches, and the handmade process can all contribute to these beautiful variations. No two batches are ever exactly alike — and that’s part of what makes Ginger & Pine unique. We strive to create products that are not only enjoyable to use, but also beautiful additions to your shop and gift collections. While our photography shows examples of our products, please keep in mind that the item you receive may have natural variations in color and appearance. Very poorly packaged. Jars of magnesium balm arrived leaking, damaging the labels. They were intended as part of business gift baskets and were unusable. The box arrived broken and dented (they used an old amazon box barely held together with tape). The lip balm labels were greasy and falling off. Also unusable. We did get a refund on the items we could not use, but overall, very disappointing.

We’re particularly disappointed to hear about the leaking magnesium balm, greasy and lifting lip balm labels, and the condition of the shipping box. While shipping damage can sometimes occur in transit, it’s ultimately our responsibility to package our products well enough to withstand the journey. We’ve taken your photos and feedback seriously and are reviewing how we seal, protect, and package these products before they leave our shop. We’re a small handmade business, but that should never mean settling for packaging that isn’t retail-ready. We’re glad we were able to refund the unusable items, and we sincerely apologize that we didn’t deliver the quality and presentation you expected.
