About The Detour Effect
Calling all adventure dogs! Show off your travels by snapping a patch onto your collar for each destination you visit. Unlike iron-on or sew-on patches, Detour Dog Collar Patches are removable and mix-and-matchable. Unlike dog tags, many patches can be worn on the same collar at the same time - collect as many as you can. They can be snapped around your existing collar, so no special gear is necessary. Founded by Claire and her dog Maple, a Welsh Springer Spaniel, our patch designs are based on photographs taken during our travels - see the original photos on our travel blog. Each patch is carefully hand-drawn by Claire without the use of AI, ensuring originality and authenticity.
