About Little Apple Treats

Little Apple Treats began with a lot of apples and a question: what else can we make with them? Ten years after moving to our apple farm in Sebastopol, California, we pulled out an old wooden apple press, juiced some of our fruit, fermented the juice, and tucked it into recycled white wine barrels. A year later, we had a delicious apple cider vinegar — and we were hooked. That first batch sent us down a very happy rabbit hole. Today, the apples from our certified organic farm are the thread running through everything we make: our apple cider vinegars, bright and fruity shrubs for cocktails and mocktails, award-winning Apple Cider Caramels, granola, and the occasional seasonal experiment that is simply too good not to share. We grow a collection of old and beloved apple varieties, including Pink Pearl, Gravenstein, Yellow Bellflower, Red Rome Beauty, and Golden Delicious, picking them fresh and finding as many delicious ways to use them as we possibly can. Everything is made in small batches here in Sonoma County, with a little curiosity, a lot of apples, and the belief that good ingredients don’t need much fussing with.
