About muse by mej

hi i'm megan e. johnson - aka mej! muse by mej is my multi-passionate creative endeavour ranging from original artwork and illustration, to writing and teaching, to 3D builds and installations. i like to dabble - but paint & pen will always be the heart of muse. i started consciously painting during a period of deep burnout and anxiety, and it changed everything - my perspective, my habits, my career path, my location, my life. it's been a saving grace for me through some pretty wild and dark times and i'm honoured to be able to share my creative musings with the world. muse is all about celebrating your journey and finding inspiration from both within and without. shop my creations here as giftware and novelty items - rotating stickers, keychains, notebooks, bookmarks, cards, prints and more as the collection evolves! musebymej.com for brand information and more products and originals @musebymej to stay up to date with new art and new offerings!
