About Shop Sovi
SOVI is an independent women’s clothing brand based in the tiny mountain town of Black Mountain, North Carolina, where every collection is designed with a love for bold prints, vintage silhouettes, and clothing that refuses to blend in. What started more than a decade ago has evolved into a collection of statement-making pieces with a distinctly SOVI point of view dramatic bell bottoms, fringe, hand-dyed bamboo, one-of-a-kind silks, easy dresses, and retro graphics with just the right amount of attitude. Inspired by the freedom of the ’70s, worn-in vintage finds, music, travel, and a little bit of the unexpected, SOVI is made for women who want their clothes to have some personality. The pieces are playful without feeling costume-y, comfortable without being boring, and designed to become the thing in your closet that people always ask about. Behind SOVI is a one-woman small business. From designing collections and developing prints to sewing limited pieces and packing orders from the mountains of North Carolina, I’m still incredibly hands-on with the brand I started all those years ago. SOVI has never been about chasing every trend. It’s about making really good clothes for people who’d rather stand out than fit in. Not made to blend in.
