About Beads, Inc.

Sisters Christine White and Anne Todd started making jewelry in middle school and opened their first bead store in high school. Creativity, kindness and crafting are values that were handed down to them from generations of women in their family. Celebrating 20 years in business in 2021, Beads, Inc. has carved a niche in the industry with kits and learning resources. As the sisters built Beads, Inc. over the years, a heavy emphasis was placed on customer service and empowering people with knowledge and skills to make jewelry of their own, giving back and paying things forward. Their belief is that jewelry making and beading is fashion-forward, chic, and simple; so their mission will always be to create a fresh look in the bead world. Constantly growing, reinventing, offering more resources, increasing selection and ways to interact with customers. Beads, Inc. and Anne and Christine have been the recipients of numerous awards including 50 Most Influential Women in Mecklenburg County, Best of the Best in Charlotte, Top 30 under 30 Entrepreneurs and more. Additionally, they have been featured in numerous publications including InStyle, QC Exclusive, SouthPark, Charlotte Magazine, The Charlotte Observer, The Charlotte Agenda, Style BluePrint, The Scout Guide, several industry publications, news and morning programming, and Youtube.
