About Family Impact Stories
Family Impact Stories are beautiful, affordable and ethical accessories to declare your love for those you care about. Family is all the people who have been around us for a long time and make our life sweeter. It is to cherish them that we created these gifts for little ones, grown-ups, moms, cousins, friends, godmothers, colleagues, nannies… and everyone we haven’t thought of yet. Family Impact Stories is also an ethical production model aligned with our social mission. Our GOTS organic cotton products are all ethically made by our NGO partner Swami Sivananda Memorial Institute (SSMI) in New Delhi, which employs women from the slums who receive free sewing training and are paid three times the Indian average wage. They are the ones who sew all our products.

Very disappointed with the quality of the embroidery. Black threads stick out from the white embroidery or the embroidery isn't straight at all.... I rejected 2 products, the rest aren't great... I hope I can sell them! The product photos seem to be photo montages? Using the empowerment of Indian women is all well and good but it doesn't justify offering poor quality. First order but also the last! Really a shame...
