About Fotofoto
Each year, 62 million tons of electronics waste ends up in landfills. FOTOFOTO up-cycles this would-be trash into delightful, "disposable" film cameras. Taking pictures on film is a breath of fresh air in our distracted digital lives. For casual photographers, the easiest way to enjoy the magic of film is with disposable cameras. Disposable cameras are incredibly wasteful, with 99% ending up in landfills after a single use. At FOTOFOTO, we re-designed the disposable camera to be as sustainable as it is delightful. Here's how it works: At our Brooklyn studio, we dismantle discarded disposable cameras, salvaging their working cores. To these cores, we add a tiny computer we designed which gives each camera advanced light-sensing technology which controls the flash The result? Perfectly lit photos everytime. We then secure the refurbished camera in our signature, grooved housing. Thus our FF-1 camera is born. When you buy an FF-1, you get access to our pay-later development service. When you're ready to get your photos developed, simply mail the camera back to us, film roll and all. We develop your photos and give you back scans, prints or both. We then carefully refurbish your camera, reload it with fresh film and send it back out into the world for its next adventure. We believe in the magic of film, but let's make it less wasteful together.

Unfortunately the majority of our order from March has still not been fulfilled. We have tried to cancel multiple times to no avail because the order is "processing". Maybe one day it will ship...I would caution you not to order from this brand.

We love the product, but the communication from this brand is terrible. We ordered 12 cameras on May 8th. After waiting months for our order (brand came nowhere near fulfilling this order in the estimated time frame listed) We canceled the order in Aug, after no response to repeated messages. To our amazement the order showed up today Sept 9th, after telling the brand we no longer wanted them to fulfill the order. we have sense found a replacement for this product from another brand.

Purchased product:
This product has a really cool concept, but the camera has trouble with the automatic flash and photos not being in focus. I've had friends purchase and only about half of the photos come out. The products say they're in stock, but they're not. They push back orders for months and months. They are relatively expensive at wholesale and for customers which makes sense since they come with development and pre-paid postage. Cool product that you will take a gamble on and hope they arrive.

I love Fotofoto and so do my customers. As the owner of my creative studio and shop, I love to recommend them to creatives of ALL ages. Unfortunately, an order, placed in November of 2025 never arrived in time for the holidays and still remains only partially filled. We have attempted to contact support multiple times spanning many months and have had no answer. We are so disappointed but are hopeful the company will attempt to right what could have merely been a mistake in a busy season.

These cameras have been a hit in our shop. We ordered for the holidays and will continue to order. The analog nature, sustainability and great design are striking a chord with our customer.
