About Hammond's Candies
Hammond’s Candies is now part of Ampersand Brands. Formed in 2025, Ampersand Brands is on a mission to craft the most coveted confections platform in the United States—blending handcrafted nostalgia with modern specialty gifting and indulgent innovation. We proudly bring together a nostalgic candy experience Hammond’s Candies, a century-old, handcrafted classic with Mitchell’s Sweets and McGraw’s Taffy, each rooted in heritage and beloved by generations. Together, we are preserving the tradition of delight while innovating for the next generation. This next chapter builds on legacy brands, strengthened by operational scale, and driven forward with renewed creativity and a shared passion for joy. Hard Candy: For maximum freshness and shelf life, we encourage you to store your hard candies in a cool, dry climate and out of direct sunlight. Hard candy products should not be kept and stored from one holiday season to the following year. Humid climates cause color breakdown. “Best By” dating is a consumption date and not a color quality guarantee. TAFFY: Taffy needs hot, humid settings as much as possible Cold weather and dry climates can cause the Taffy product to become dry and brittle faster than the guaranteed shelf life of 7 months.
