Brand was great but this specific matcha I feel is more barista grade. The color is very yellow ish and the bitterness was very strong.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. We greatly appreciate your kind words. We do want to add a quick clarifying note that Bansho is crafted to be used in milk-based flavored and blended drinks. While we don't use the term barista-grade internally, that would be an accurate description of the blend! Made from carefully selected regional cultivars, Bansho was blended to deliver exceptional performance for its price. For customers seeking an approachable Matcha at an incredible value, Bansho represents one of the most compelling options we have encountered. Thank you again for your support and feedback! —Kettl • Jul 29, 2026

I was born and raised in Japan, and I have a deep appreciation for Japanese tea. This product is truly exceptional—the aroma as soon as you open the tea bag is completely different from anything else. The fragrance, flavor, aftertaste, and even the color are all beautiful. It’s high-quality green tea. Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful product.
