About The Glazing Sun
The Glazing Sun is colorful, FUNctional pottery that brings joy and happiness to people. This world needs more color and Alana believes with her functional art, she can add more color into peoples lives when they use their Glazing Sun piece. Pottery itself is made from a ceramic mold that we purchase, I glaze everything and fire it - similar to artists painting on a canvas!

Air plant magnetic mugs were sweet. We returned the blowfish as the colours were not as pictured. We assumed it was all handmade but the tags indicated made in China so that was a disappointment. We assumed they were hand painted elsewhere by the brand however not really sure.

Hi! I hand glaze and fire all the pottery in my kiln - I purchase the pottery made from molds from a supplier, that they must have them made in china, it is similar to an artist purchasing a canvas to paint on. Colors with glaze can vary firing - I am sorry you were unhappy with your pufferfish colors. —The Glazing Sun • Mar 10, 2026
