People sometimes ask me where the name Émilie Karston comes from. In 1987, when our family house was born under the name Karston, I chose to add my first name to it to inscribe a story, a commitment and a woman's voice. For me, fashion must above all liberate and accompany, far from diktats and ephemeral trends. Respect for rhythm, insistence on craftsmanship and enduring beauty are at the heart of our approach. From our workshops in Saint-Macaire-en-Mauges, we create women's shoes and women's ready-to-wear where comfort, elegance and poetry meet.
