About Cara Mae Skin Care
In 2004 potter Cara Steinbuchel made the first batch of Potters' Skin Butter lotion to heal and protect the hard-working hands of hands of ceramics artists. She also wanted to help people like her mom, and nurse, and her grandfather, a Wichita lineman and hobby mechanic, who also suffer from dry skin. Today, Potters' Skin Butter is loved across the world by people from all walks of life who live life hands-on, doing what they love. Our products are vegan, plant-based, cruelty-free, and crafted in small batches by the founder and her spouse Michelle. We only use essentail oils for our scents. When you shop with us, you are supporting a LGBTQI+ and woman-owned business. Each jar is filled and labeled by hand, with the same care that you put into your work and passions.
