About Tom's Studio
We believe everyone deserves the best possible tools. Tools that work. Tools that last. Tools that inspire. Our mission is to be the leading choice for the highest quality, responsible and innovative stationery. We aim to bring joy through craft and community, inspiring everyone to realize their creative potential. Every pen is hand-built by our team in our Somerset studio, where the designs are brought to life with the utmost attention to detail. This hands-on approach not only enables us to create unique, high-quality pens, but also ensures that we can maintain and support our products long after purchase. Tom’s Studio began with a simple observation: Tom noticed his wife, Gemma, using a plastic calligraphy pen that didn’t match the beauty of her work. Tom crafted his first pen from Corian and brass on his father-in-law’s vintage lathe and the journey began. He reinvested every profit into improving his products, all while nurturing a community of artists and creators who supported his journey and kept sustainability at the front of his mind at every decision. Each pen is designed by Tom himself and we work with a select group of manufacturers from around the world, some with over a century of experience in their craft, to source the finest components, including nibs, inks and tips.

I couldn't recommend Tom's more. Beyond quick shipment and excellent communication, they are just a delight to work with. Their prices consider VAT and shipping so that retailers can make a standard 50%. So many brands do not, and retailers are left weighing the suggested RRP and their landed costs. Plus, their items fly off the shelves, even as a small market stall.
