It's 2016. Chani stands in her barely 2 m² student kitchen in Augsburg and wildly pours ingredients into a pot. After all, it has to be quick. A last-minute birthday present. What could be better than a homemade liqueur? We jump to the year 2020. Almost four years later, liqueur production was moved from her small student kitchen to a new location, because with the joint move back to our hometown Friedberg two milestones were achieved at once: Armin was from then on an official part of the production team and there was finally more space — for more liqueur. Then came the summer of 2023. And with the summer of 2023, the legendary "Friedberger Zeit." Ten days of life in a state of emergency. But as native Friedbergers we were, of course, prepared: twelve liters of ginger-lemon liqueur were ready for this special time of year. Of course we didn't just drink it ourselves. It was diligently and generously distributed among family and friends. After all, during this time people especially drink "to health!" And as is often the case, the best (booze) ideas come up in the evenings at the campfire: how would it be if we were allowed to sell our liqueur officially by the next "Friedberger Zeit"? What started as a joke became serious in January 2024. After the "Friedberger Zeit" had passed, we researched like mad what is needed for your own liqueur brand and tested lots of recipe variations.Read their story
