All USA orders are now fulfilled from our Buffalo and Texas warehouses to avoid tariffs and simplify delivery.** Hello and welcome! We are Ellie and Hanif, the duo behind Rug the Rock. Along with our furry kids, Joey and Maya, we are dedicated to sharing the soul of exquisite handwoven rugs with the world. Our journey began when we moved from Iran to Canada to attend school. We quickly realized that the soulful, storied rugs we grew up with were missing from the local market. What started as a personal search grew into a mission to bridge the gap between traditional weavers and modern homes. What started as a personal search grew into a mission to curate a collection of one-of-a-kind Persian, Turkish, and Afghan rugs that are handcrafted with care and filled with history. Hunting for these unique pieces is what makes us happy. Every rug we offer has been personally selected to ensure it is authentic and truly special. We look for unparalleled craftsmanship, from the intricate knotting techniques to the use of traditional dyes and high-quality wool. We believe that adding one of these rugs to a home is a beautiful way to infuse a space with warmth, character, and a touch of the past. We invite you to explore our latest finds and join us in our appreciation for these storied works of art.Read their story
