About Birth Song Botanicals Co.
Herbal wisdom for every season of life. Founded in 2009 by Maria Chowdhury, Birth Song Botanicals grew from her work as a midwife, herbalist, and longtime student of women’s health and plant wisdom. What began with custom herbal remedies for women and families has grown into a line of herbal products created to support women, children, and families through the changing seasons of life. Our roots are in the traditions of midwives and herbalists and in a deep reverence for plants and the Earth. We believe women’s bodies are intelligent and that every stage of life—from menstruation and pregnancy to postpartum, breastfeeding, perimenopause, and menopause—deserves nourishment, knowledge, and respect. We create high-quality herbal teas, yoni steams, and baths for women’s wellness, children’s wellness, immune health, and everyday nourishment. Education is central to our work because we believe herbal wisdom is most powerful when it can be shared. For retailers, Birth Song Botanicals offers more than products for your shelves. We offer a story your customers can connect with: plant wisdom, women’s wisdom, and practical herbal support for everyday life. We are honored to partner with boutiques, herb shops, health food stores, midwives, birth centers, and wellness practitioners who share our belief that when women and families are supported, communities thrive. Such a bummer. We were so excited to bring these products in. As a fellow herbalist, these are solid formulas. But we are successful because we are consistent, and care about the value we provide. All the tinctures we received were underfilled and all different levels, *much* different from the fill line in the photos. We make our own tinctures, and offer several others. It is industry standard to fill a 1oz bottle to 1oz. I went direct, expecting her to make it right. Sadly, i was wrong.

Hi Victoria, Thank you for your feedback and for your kind words regarding our formulas. While we no longer offer or sell ingestible liquid tinctures on Faire in compliance with platform guidelines, we want to clarify the details of this order for our community. During our direct communication, we addressed the concern regarding the single underfilled tincture bottle. A claim was immediately submitted through Faire support, and a full refund was issued for the impacted items while the rest of the order was retained. Quality control is our highest priority, and we have since updated our filling and batch inspection procedures to ensure every bottle strictly meets our standard fill lines before shipping. We appreciate the opportunity to have worked with Cedar Hill Homestead & Apothecary and wish you continued success. — Maria, Birth Song Botanicals —Birth Song Botanicals Co. • Jun 23, 2026
