Hi, I’m Sophie! I create art because, simply put, I feel like I need to. For a long time I tried to keep that urge tucked away while I worked full-time in social housing after completing my Part 1 Architecture degree. While architecture gave me an incredible foundation to hone my technical skills, experiment, and learn how to really see, the industry itself wasn’t the right fit. Eventually, the pressure of my job led to burnout. During that quiet time off to recover, something incredible happened I couldn’t stop creating. Art became my way back to myself, and Betsy & Co Studios is the living, breathing result of that turning point in my life. Art holds memories, lifts a quiet afternoon, and makes you smile when you walk past it in the hallway. My goal is always to create pieces that bring that same warmth and personality into your space. In my studio, I craft a wide range of products designed to bring art into everyday life. My collections include original paintings, high-quality art prints, and custom commissions, alongside everyday pieces like vinyl stickers, illustrated greeting cards, and tote bags.
