About Seedling Press Publishing

I was Little Seed. There was a time in my life when I knew what it felt like to wait. To wonder if I was enough, if my moment would ever come, if the world Up Above was really meant for me too. I carried that feeling for a long time before I understood it as a gift. Seedling Press Publishing was born from that little seed inside me. I'm Mari Telios, and I write books for the children who are still waiting. Who are deep in the dirt, curious and hopeful, not yet sure what they're growing toward. The Little Seed's Long Wait is my first story. Available in an English edition and a Spanish edition, it is a book meant to be felt as much as read. A book for bedtimes and classrooms and the quiet moments when a child needs to hear that their wait has meaning. I created Seedling Press for the independent retailers and booksellers who believe, as I do, that the right book at the right moment can change everything for a child. These are stories for the little seeds in all of us.Read their story
