About Alphabet Joy
We’re Alphabet Joy, a husband-and-wife art studio based in Charleston, South Carolina—watercolor artist Margaret Joy and designer/creative director Derek. We create greeting cards and art prints from hand-painted watercolors inspired by real people’s stories, packed with nostalgia, quirk, and joy—turning everyday moments into keepsakes that feel personal, warm, and worth keeping. We’ve collected 900+ handwritten stories, and we believe the best art is made with people, not just for them!
