About Open Bricks

Growing up in a family with six boys, I had contact with interlocking building bricks from an early age. With the same bricks we built a farm in the morning, a knight's castle at noon, and an airport in the evening. Nowadays it seems like the traditional manufacturers no longer want your own creativity, but that only certain models should be built according to rigid instructions. That annoyed me, which is why I founded the company Open Brick Source in 2019. The company has set itself the goal of making building bricks more exciting through different materials (e.g., wood), innovative features (e.g., light & sound), and new designs (e.g., printed, stackable building plates). For us, the manufacturer's brand is not decisive, but the quality and innovation of the building bricks. Under our brand umbrella we bring together a number of building-brick brands from top manufacturers that consistently increase the fun you can have with bricks. All of them, of course, compatible with the traditional suppliers. These are, in detail: - Open Bricks (top quality, e.g., technic pins in body color, mostly printing instead of stickers, etc.) - STAX (LED bricks) - FabBrix (wooden bricks) We will continue to keep our eyes open in the future to pick up on exciting developments in the building-brick sector.
