About The Shelley Society

Hello! I'm Lauren Shelley, the artist behind The Shelley Society. I grew up in the Midwest, and after living in different places for many years I happily moved back to the area with my two dogs, George and Louise (You may notice them featured in some of my artwork!). George has recently crossed the rainbow bridge, but he will always have a place in my heart, and I love that his spirit will live on through my greeting cards. I have a love of bright colors, beachy vacations (and traveling in general), and animals of all kind, all of which you'll see reflected in my illustrations. I love the connection snail mail provides and enjoy encouraging those connections with my greeting cards. I draw or paint each design by hand from start to finish, and there is NEVER ANY AI used in any part of my work. I've had my stationery sold in over 450 retailers in the US and Canada, and am looking forward to continuing to grow The Shelley Society - it really is a dream come true for me. I work with a small woman-owned printing and fulfillment company in MA, and that is where my greeting cards ship from. When I'm not working, you can most likely find me curled up with my dogs while reading a book, planning my next trip, or thrifting online. Thanks for being here - please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions! Read their story
