Azady Soap began with a simple question: What’s really in this? When the eczema on my fingertips finally calmed after switching to truly natural soap bars, I became curious about what goes into the products we use every day and whether soap could be made with greater care. My husband gave me a soapmaking book, and what started as curiosity became a craft I fell in love with. With a background in physics, soapmaking became the perfect blend of *science and creativity*, inspiring questions with every batch: *How can this bar last longer, feel creamier, be gentler on irritated skin, and make every ingredient count?* That curiosity still guides every bar we make. *Azady* means “freedom” in Kurdish*. To me, it represents the belief that freedom belongs to everyone and shapes not only how I make soap, but how I move through the world. For us, that means *freedom from harsh, unnecessary chemicals*, and freedom to enjoy beautiful scent without the headaches and overwhelm that can come with heavily fragranced products. Every Azady bar is *thoughtfully formulated, carefully crafted, and made to respect your skin and honor your wellbeing*.
