NEVO is a fashion brand founded by designer Suzumi.M. I intentionally chose a name with no specific meaning: "NEVO." This reflects my desire to avoid imposing a fixed image, instead cherishing a sense of "blank space" where the wearer and the era can flexibly define its meaning. It is a symbol of both my strategic thinking and fluid sensibility. At the core of NEVO’s creation lie materials with a depth that cannot be replicated overnight, such as intricate jacquards and delicate laces. In today’s fashion scene, where designs are easily copied and homogenization is widespread, I consciously distance myself from these trends to pursue my own unique value. Guided by the belief that a designer should not be a mere technician, but a creative expressive artist, I weave the profound history and craftsmanship of the materials into my designs. In doing so, I build an intellectual value that can never be simply consumed. My central theme is "Between the Ordinary and the Extraordinary." It captures the elegance of special occasions and the comfort of daily life. By blurring the boundaries between them, I aspire to be a presence that stays close to the wearer’s life, adding a touch of drama to every fleeting moment. NEVO is more than just clothing.
