About Sawdust and Clay
We’re Amy and Jim Bishop — a husband and wife team of artists dedicated to creating handcrafted pieces that connect people to art, nature, and everyday beauty. As former retail store owners and experienced makers, we bring a unique dual perspective to everything we create. Jim is a woodcraft artist, and Amy is a potter. Together, we are Sawdust & Clay — blending wood and ceramic artistry into collections that have earned a loyal following and strong sales performance for retailers across the country. Our years of experience running a retail shop taught us firsthand what customers are drawn to: quality craftsmanship, functional design, and meaningful storytelling. Every product we offer here has been tested, refined, and proven to be a top seller — helping our retail partners delight their customers and grow their businesses with confidence.
