About Westmorland Design
My work is created in rural Westmorland in Cumbria, inspired by the wildlife, landscape and changing seasons of the British countryside. I work digitally, using modern creative tools to develop original illustrations with the bold marks, textures and character of traditional linocut and printmaking. Each design is developed and refined in my studio, where I adjust composition, detail and colour before preparing the finished artwork for print. The result is a contemporary collection that combines modern digital techniques with the spirit of traditional British wildlife art.
