About Martha Hull Studio
Martha Hull learned to draw and paint because the stories in her head refused to stay quiet. Every piece begins as an actual painting in her Burlington, Vermont studio. Her work is full of big-eyed characters and hand-lettered observations that work, often in counterpoint, to make things funny as well as adorable. It's kinda dark, definitely weird, and still somehow whimsical. Martha offers quality small-scale reproductions ranging from stickers to archival art prints as a way to share in the worlds she builds. She believes that we all have the right to surround ourselves with beautiful, adorable things that make us laugh.
