About Yoga Mat Tie

Growth happens in all stages of life, but you don’t really feel the impact of it until you’re put in a situation, you’re not ready for. So, just a few years before retirement, Lisa said yes to taking over a friend’s business, Yoga Mat Tie. “I have always helped run other people’s business but never found ‘that thing’ that inspired me to take a leap of faith until our friend Brian approached us to take the business over” Lisa said with determination in her eyes. With the help of her retired husband, Michael, as Head of Manufacturing, and furry, four-legged Harlow, as Head of Security, Yoga Mat Tie lives on to help solve the ongoing ‘unrolling mat dilemma’ in the world. The first thing that Lisa and Michael did after officially taking over the Yoga Mat Tie in 2021 is establish their partnerships with a veteran-owned postal services shop, minority-owned graphic artist, a minority-owned specialty printer, and a women-minority-owned social media manager, who are all local in the Los Angeles area. "It's more than a business - it's a community." ~Lisa RogyRead their story
