Founded in 2021 by Key and Charles McKay, Guyanese Swag is a cultural lifestyle brand celebrating Guyana, its people, and the global Guyanese diaspora through apparel, gifts, accessories, footwear, home goods, and souvenirs. For Key, the brand is deeply personal. After moving from Guyana to the United States at age 10, she quickly learned how little many people knew about her country—even regularly confusing Guyana with Ghana. Years later, that experience helped inspire a brand designed not only to represent Guyanese culture proudly, but to help make Guyana more visible around the world. What started with family, friends, and pop-up events grew into a brand serving Guyanese customers and gift buyers across borders. Today, we create products inspired by the colors, places, foods, sayings, traditions, and everyday experiences that make Guyanese culture unmistakably ours.
