Welcome to Büchlbräu – the small craft brewery from Untergriesbach near Passau in Lower Bavaria. Discover Stoabial, our handcrafted beer from the mountain – natural, unfiltered and fed by its own mountain spring. Büchlbräu is a microbrewery from the district of Passau in Lower Bavaria, founded in 2021 by brewmaster Stefan Sterl. Brewing takes place up on the mountain in Steinbüchl, roughly 800 metres above the everyday – where the wind softly whistles, the water comes from the spring and beer is given time. Büchlbräu is a family business. Wife, father, daughter and the grandparents all stand together behind every batch. Our beer brand Stoabial stands for craft beer from the mountain, brewed with its own mountain spring, unfiltered, natural and produced only in small quantities. In addition to classic beers, we also create creative pub beers with an Irish influence: Whisky Weizen, Irish Whisky Stout, whisky cask‑aged beers and characterful Pale Ales.Read their story
