Fuwa Market is a Japanese brand giving traditional Japanese patterns a fresh, modern expression. Every design begins with washi paper and cotton hand-dyed by artisans in Kyoto, layered color by color through hand-cut stencils - so no two pieces are exactly alike. Our Symbols of Happiness collection turns auspicious motifs - Seigaiha waves, Ume plum blossoms, Ichimatsu checks and Icho ginkgo leaves - into everyday stationery and accessories.
