Much of her work is inspired by a childhood spent exploring the great outdoors, surrounded by towering mountains, peaceful forests, and the unmistakable scent of pine. From an early age, she has felt a deep connection to the natural world—developing a lifelong passion for environmental stewardship. Through her art, she strives to capture that sense of wonder and appreciation. While she enjoys experimenting with a variety of mixed media, colored pencil remains her preferred medium. Kayla’s experiences continue to shape her artistic perspective and inspire her to create pieces that celebrate the beauty and character of the world around us.
