About Forma Ceramics LLC

Some things are worth making slowly. Forma Ceramics was born from a deep respect for the natural world, its textures, its palette, its quiet insistence on imperfection. Every piece we make begins as raw porcelain, colored from the start with mineral mason stains worked directly into the clay before it ever meets the wheel or our hands. That color isn't a finish. It lives all the way through. Then each piece is wheel-thrown or hand-built, glazed, and fired until the form and hue are fully realized. No two pieces are identical. We work in small batches because quality can't be rushed, and because we believe the person who eventually holds one of our pieces deserves to feel that care. The weight of a well-thrown bowl. The smooth curve of a vase that caught the light just right. The slight variation in color that tells you a human made this, not a machine. Our work is made to be used. Set the table with it. Fill the vase. Display it, then rearrange it. We're not interested in ceramics that live behind glass. We're interested in the ones that become part of your daily ritual. Our environmental commitment runs through everything we do: thoughtful sourcing, minimal waste, and a production philosophy rooted in making less but making it better. When you choose Forma, you're choosing something made with intention for your home, and for the planet. This is ceramics for real life. Made by hand. Meant to last.Read their story
