About Green Llama

Just like the llama treads gently on our Earth, Green Llama Cleaning Products are designed to leave a light footprint. I’m Kay, an Occupational Therapist and co-founder of Green Llama. Alongside my partner Matt, a neuroscientist, we started Green Llama in July 2020 with one transformative question: "Why transport water when we already have it at home?" That simple idea led to the creation of our eco-friendly, refillable cleaning products. At Green Llama, we are not just creating cleaning solutions; we are driving a movement toward a more sustainable future. Our journey began at local markets and online, and it’s rapidly growing thanks to our commitment to reducing waste and plastic use. We take pride in being a woman-led business in a traditionally male-dominated industry, breaking the mold with every step. My background in occupational therapy has always been about improving lives, and with Green Llama, we extend that passion to caring for the planet. Our products merge science and sustainability, proving you don’t have to compromise on cleaning power to protect the Earth. We’re proud that Green Llama is Leaping Bunny Certified, reflecting our ongoing commitment to cruelty-free and ethical production. This certification aligns with our mission to offer effective, sustainable cleaning solutions that are kind to both your home and the environment. Together, we can make a positive impact—treading lightly with every sustainable choice, just like the llama.Read their story
