About Mounts Bay Distillery

We’re Ben and Lisa, the husband‑and‑wife team behind Mounts Bay Distillery, a family‑run distillery on the wild Cornish coast. Our spirits are shaped by the cliffs, sea spray, and Atlantic winds that surround us every day. We craft everything ourselves — fermenting, distilling, and bottling on-site — using rare wood‑fired stills that create a depth and character few modern distilleries achieve. We harvest botanicals from the cliffs and shoreline, and work with local honey and sea berry companies, bringing true coastal flavour into every batch. Alongside our characterful rums, we also produce a small range of coastal Cornish gins, distilled with hand‑foraged botanicals and ingredients that reflect our landscape. Each gin carries the same craftsmanship as our rum: slow distillation, honest ingredients, and a deep connection to the land and sea. Every bottle we make is a reflection of Cornwall — wild, pure, and full of soul.
