About The Little Pencil Company
Southern Girl married to an Indiana Boy | Mom of 3 including our daughter who was born with half of a heart (HRHS). I can usually be found wearing a ballcap, holding an iced coffee, and hanging with my kids as a stay at home mom. I love college football and basketball and playing nerdy strategy games. I started the Little Pencil Company in 2018 when my daughter was born and she spent 10 weeks in the NICU. In her first 2.5 years of life we had multiple ER trips, hospital stays, three heart caths, and three open heart surgeries. Though her heart will never be whole, the surgeries have allowed her to thrive until she needs more intervention in the future. Drawing was my favorite thing to do in the hospital, it helped me relax and brought me so much joy. And still does.
