About Kalkedon Towels
We launched our business out of love to traditions and culture. You can find unique things around the world. Turkish cotton towels are one of them. They are unique, traditional pieces. The possibility of sharing them with you, showing the piece of the antique Aegean culture is the main reason we started Kalkedon Towels. Our towels come from a little town in Western part of Turkey. We are so happy to work with people from a small community. We believe, people around us, are the most important and we should care about each other. Our peshtemals/ Turkish towels are lightweight and portable which makes them quite proper in a beach, travel but also thicker than many others which makes them perfect fit as a shawl or throw blanket for chilly nights. Our plush/oversized bath towels are weaved withTurkish cotton ring spun yarns on traditional jacquard looms. Therefore, it is long-lasting and not easily deformed. The towels are dyed with organic and traditional dyeing techniques.

Our customers love these Turkish towels. The colors are great, absorbent cotton and quick shipping. Kalkedon has always communicated if anything was out of stock and let us know when to expect orders to be filled. Quality company!
