About Gli Aironi

gliAironi: at the center of everything is rice. gliAironi is not just a rice-producing entity. gliAironi has always aimed to be a spokesperson for the culture and history of an excellent Made in Italy product, telling its story grain by grain. For this reason, gliAironi has always maintained that "at the center of everything is rice." Rice is at the center of history. The history of a territory, that of the Vercelli granges. In these lands, reclaimed and cultivated in the 1100s by Cistercian and Benedictine monks, Vercelli rice was born, which has since been the flagship of the productions of this area. The history of a family, the Perinotti family, which for five generations has gained experience in rice cultivation in these lands, dedicating their existence to improving the cultivation conditions of the Pracantone Estate. Over the years, the Perinotti family has been joined by a competent and cohesive team, led by Gabriele Conte, the group's Brand Evangelist. The history of a company that has always focused on quality and a return to traditional agriculture. It is no coincidence that the company's name is a tribute by Michele Perinotti to the Grey Herons, an endangered species that returned to populate the area's rice fields only a few years ago, when the focus shifted away from intensive rice farming based on quantity production and the indiscriminate use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides.Read their story
