As designers and artisans, we have been committed to sustainable fashion since 2006. Ombre Claire was born from the deep aspiration of its founder, Aude Durou, to unite her work as a designer with her ethical convictions. Today, Ombre Claire brings together two jewelry lines, each with its own craftsmanship and story. Our Parisian line is entirely made in Paris. Each piece begins with an original design, hand-sculpted in our studio before being cast into jewelry by a Parisian foundry using traditional techniques. A local, artisanal process that gives every creation its unique character. Our ethical line is designed in Paris and handcrafted by artisans in Mali and Niger, who preserve ancestral know-how. These lands have been familiar to Aude since childhood, through her father, a photographer and historian of the Sahara Desert. Ombre Claire has established an ethical charter and built strong, lasting partnerships with these artisans. Today, the brand enables 30 artisans to make a living from their craft and share their talent with the world.
