About ambustum

**ambustum. [Latin] : burn** At ambustum, we believe a candle should be judged by what happens when you light it. Every ambustum candle is poured by hand in London and made for the moment fragrance begins to fill a room and subtly changes how the space feels. From fresh and uplifting to rich and atmospheric, every fragrance is chosen because it brings something distinctive and, most importantly, performs beautifully when it burns. Burn quality sits at the heart of everything we do. Every candle is made in small batches and rigorously tested, with careful attention paid to the wick, fragrance throw and the way it performs from the first burn to the last. New fragrances begin their journey in Small Batch, our rotating collection of limited edition scents. It gives us the freedom to explore something new while allowing our customers to directly shape what comes next. The fragrances they return to, reorder and love most have the opportunity to earn a permanent place in the ambustum collection. That means our core collection isn't simply chosen by us. It's shaped by the people who actually burn our candles, with proven customer favourites sitting at its heart. The result is a collection of beautifully made, generously fragranced candles designed to be burned, enjoyed and returned to again and again. Because for us, a beautiful candle is only the beginning. What really matters is how it burns.Read their story
