About Turkish Towel Paradise

Hello, I’m Dilek, the founder of our family textile brand, based in New Jersey and rooted in Kızılcabölük, Denizli, Turkey. I grew up in a village where weaving has been part of everyday life for generations. My family had two looms, and I learned the craft from my parents. My mother taught me to tie and twist tassels by hand, while my father taught me how to weave, operate the loom, and repair it. By 17, I was weaving towels on my own. After leaving my village at 18, life eventually brought me back home with my daughter. Together, we brought our family loom back to life and began a new chapter. Today, three generations still contribute to our work. My father helps with designs, my mother hand-finishes tassels and shares her knowledge with my daughter, and we continue the traditions passed down through our family. Our Turkish towels, hand towels, throws, and blankets are made in Turkey and offered through our New Jersey-based business to retailers across the United States.
